Our own powder paint line enables that products can be painted in the desired RAL colour.

The process of electrostatic powder coating consists of three phases:

  • Pre-treatment – degreasing: The pre-treatment includes phosphating, work pieces degreasing in a tunnel and drying.
  • Electrostatic painting: The colour powder is applied in an aspiration chamber using a spray gun according to the principle of electrostatics. Powder paint in the spray gun is charged with a negative charge and because of the air pressure a cloud forms at the outlet of the spray  gun. A grounded work piece itself attracts the colour powder of 80-100 microns.
  • Colour polymerization: Once the application of colour is completed, a colour polymerization process begins, i.e. it is polymerized in the furnace, at a temperature of 180-220 ◦C for a period of 15 min.

Advantages of powder coating over other methods:

  • Do not contain volatile organic solvents – protection of the environment.
  • Remains of paint powder (90%) can be reused by using filters to collect the paint.
  • Resistance to mechanical and chemical influences.
  • Easy maintenance of the product and its purification.

The innovative mechanical design and an effective operation control of refrigerated air dryers are what sets them apart from the rivals in terms of performance, reliability and energy efficiency.

Beko Technology air dryers use the R407C or R134a gas (all models including RA135) as a refrigerant. This type of refrigerant is the number one choice for all types of refrigerated dryers because it has no adverse effect on the ozone and because its impact on global warming is negligible. It is stable and enables smooth operation. RA air dryers are characterised by automatic condensate drain system, which provides the effective discharge of condensate from the compressed air system, while creating a minimal pressure drop.

The right size of the pressure vessel is determined based on the size of the air compressor. Our standard range includes blue-lacquered vertical RAL 5015 pressure vessels with capacities ranging from 200–900 litres. The vessels include a safety valve and a pressure gauge.

Pressure vessels to a volume of 900 l/11 bars are manufactured in compliance with the Simple Pressure Vessels European Directive 2014/29/EU, which is applicable from 20/04/2016 onwards. Pressure vessels of larger volumes (greater than 1000 l/11 bars) are made in compliance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/ EU, which is applicable from 20/04/2016 onwards.

BEKOMAT CONDENSATE DRAIN

Bekomat condensate drains are used for removing condensate from compressed air systems. The condensate flows into the Bekomat and accumulates in its container. A two-point filling level sensor continuously registers the filling level and as soon as the container is filled, it relays a signal to the solenoid valve, which opens the membrane on the outlet to discharge the condensate. When the condensate is fully discharged, the outlet line is re-closed tightly before any compressed-air loss occurs.

ÖWAMAT OIL/WATER SEPARATORS

Anyone who runs compressed air systems, needs to control and treat the inevitably occurring condensate. This is what economic and technical reasons, as well as ever increasing legal regulations, demand.

Installing an oil/water separation system for dispersed condensates usually represents a cost-saving and permanently reliable solution to the problem. The purified water that comes out of these systems, meets the legal requirements regarding discharge into the sewer system.

The condensate discharged from compressed air systems is 99% water and 1% oil, which need to be separated in order to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. This is where Owamat comes in. When the condensate flows into the Owamat, it swirls under pressure in the first chamber and then stabilizes (no turbulence). Aerosols are retained in the round filter at the top of the Owamat. The condensate then flows into the separation tank with a two-stage filter. Oil and coarse dirt particles are retained in the pre-filter while the remaining hydrocarbons are filtered out by the activated carbon filter. The final result is clean, eco-friendly water, suitable for discharge directly into the sewer system.

Impurities in the air around the compressor are sucked into the system and become concentrated while the compressor is running. These impurities may take the form of a liquid (water, oil), vapour (hydrocarbon), gas (carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride) or particulates (dust and other). Unless removed, these impurities may cause serious damage to the equipment and reduced quality of end products.

Elaborate studies have confirmed that many compressor systems are wasteful and inefficient. The inefficiency generally occurs in times of high demands, which emerge in irregular intervals. This places a heavy burden on the business as well as the environment.

For more demanding customers, we also have the VIIG RSDK-B version, which, in addition to the compressor and pressure vessel, also includes a refrigerated air dryer for drier, higher-quality compressed air.
